| Program Description | The M.Ed. in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Community Counseling is a 48-hour program accredited by CACREP. The curriculum is designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) in Georgia as well as certification by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Graduates are prepared to work in a wide variety of settings such as mental health, rehabilitation, career, corrections, gerontology, and employee assistance programs. The program is friendly to working students who can attend evening classes (in the regular school year with evening and daytime classes during summer semester) either full- or part-time. | |
