CACREP Announces Faculty RFP for Research on Current Issues
March 14, 2012In recent years, CACREP has supported research that examines the various impacts of accreditation and related issues through initiating RFP’s on current affairs within the counseling profession.
As a result of the recent TRICARE legislation, there has been growing interest in counseling programs pursuing CACREP accreditation as well as professional dialogue as to why counseling programs should apply for CACREP accreditation. CACREP is soliciting research proposals from counseling program faculty that focus on the benefits of and barriers to CACREP accreditation, as well as other current issues.
Applicant researchers can be funded up to $1,500. Full details on the faculty RFP can be found in the announcement. (Deadline to apply is June 1, 2012.)
