The EMU Master of Arts in Counseling program provides accredited clinical mental health counseling training within the context of a tradition of community building. We are committed to creating an educational environment that values interpersonal relationships. We strive to achieve the highest standards of excellence in providing psychologically and spiritually grounded training for counselors. Our emphasis on mutual support, creativity, and experiential learning creates a place of safety for the sacred work of counseling, facilitating the inner work counselor training requires. We welcome students and faculty from various traditions who enrich our community.  Please note this program is currently accredited as a Community Counseling program.

Program History
