Appalachian State University  

The professional school counseling program consists of a minimum of 60 semester hours.  The program is accredited by CACREP and NCATE and graduates approximately 20 students each year.  Most of the students attend on a full-time basis and are employed as school counselors upon graduation.  The program is very student centered and stresses diversity in all the courses.
