St. John's University
St. John’s offers both School Counseling and School Counseling with a Bilingual Extension programs to prepare graduates to address the academic, personal/social, and career development needs of diverse clients in K-12 settings. Both programs consist of 48 credits that include a core of 12 credits and the remaining specialization courses. The faculty in this progam bring a rich combination of practical school experience along with the academic/theoretical knowledge that enables them to offer students an unique and enriching graduate experience. The program offers both in-class and distance learning courses and incorporates the latest technology in the program’s new counseling laboratory.
