The master’s degree program in human development counseling/school counseling meets the Illinois Standards for the School Service Personnel Certificate (23.11, 2nd edition 2002). In response to school counseling certification rule changes (Section 25.225 of the 23 Illinois Administrative code) approved by the Illinois State Board of Education on June 1, 2004, the Bradley University School Counseling Program in the Department of Leadership Education, Human Service, and Counseling has established courses of study for degree-seeking students in the School Counseling Program.
