From Counseling Organzations

American Counseling Association (ACA)

ACA has created a webpage for students and faculty impacted by the Argosy closures which includes tips and resources.  Among the information included is a spreadsheet of every counseling program that has indicated a willingness to help students (both CACREP-accredited and non CACREP -accredited), tips for dealing with disruptions in one’s program; ACA job board and career counseling information; the process for requesting a consultation from an ACA staff member; loan forgiveness programs; and information from both Argosy and the regional accrediting body WASC.  To visit their page click here.

Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES)

If you are a former Argosy faculty member looking for information please see the efforts that ACES has spearheaded to assist in your transition by clicking here.

Chi Sigma Iota (CSI)

Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) welcomes students, alumni and faculty of its chapters that have been chartered at Argosy University campuses to remain active, involved members of the Society. Although CSI chapters at Argosy University campuses have had to be or will soon have to be deactivated, members of these chapters remain able to:

  • change their chapter affiliations to CSI chapters chartered at other counselor education programs. [Sign into your personal member profile and complete the Chapter Change Form [Membership < Chapter Change Form].]
  • update information within their member profiles to reflect updates in contact information, affiliations, etc. [Sign into your personal member profile and complete the Profile Change Form [Membership < Profile Change Form].]

We invite you to visit the CSI website (www.csi-net.org) and contact us with additional questions or concerns.
