New CACREP Board Members Selected

Welcome to the three new Board members who were elected at the January meeting.  Their terms will begin July 1, 2023.

Carlos Del Rio is a Counselor Educator who teaches in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree program at Bellevue University in Nebraska.

Counselor Educator Aaron Mertes teaches in the Rehabilitation Counseling degree program at Montana State University Billings.

The Practitioner member opening has been filled by John Steward, who works as a Mental Health Therapist for the Department of Veteran Affairs in the State of Washington.  He also serves as an adjunct professor at both Colorado Christian University and Liberty University.

In addition, new officers were elected by the Board.  Beginning July 1, 2023, new Chair Earl Grey will be joined by Vice-Chair Cheri Meder and Treasurer Sonja Sutherland.
