Policy A.3.h. Extension of Accreditation Status:

A counselor education program may request an extension of accredited status if it can demonstrate extenuating circumstances. If the extension is granted, upon completion of the accreditation review process, the counselor education program’s next period of accreditation would include the extension time – for a total of no more than eight (8) years of accreditation.
