Policy A.2.o. Prerequisite for Doctoral Programs. All programs seeking to add or that hold accreditation for a doctoral Counselor Education and Supervision program must have at least one accredited Master’s Counseling specialized practice area degree program. New applicant programs may apply for accreditation for a doctoral Counselor Education and Supervision degree program if the application also includes an entry-level Counseling specialized practice area degree program.
