The specialized practice area was found to substantially meet the standards with some minor standards-related deficiencies for which the Board requires further information.
Additional information is required for the following standards:
1.U – The Counselor Education Program needs to provide evidence on course credit hours.
1.Z – The Counselor Education Program must address core faculty identity and/or engagement in the profession.
Program History
The Community Counseling program was initially accredited in January 2009 and has maintained its accreditation. In July 2017, the Community Counseling program was converted to a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program.
