Through our MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, students gain the confidence, qualifications, and critical thinking skills needed to help clients cope with daily life and overcome their greatest challenges. Students focus on helping them develop their strengths and find their own solutions to issues. Led by faculty with extensive clinical practice experience, our MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program explores the latest counseling theories; evidence-based research; and tools for preventing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders. Through role-playing and case studies in class and at residencies, you are given opportunities to practice counseling skills and concepts. Then, through supervised field work and a practicum, students can apply their skills to help others lead more productive and fulfilling lives.
