The specialized practice area was found to substantially meet the standards with some minor standards-related deficiencies for which the Board requires further information.

2.A – The Counselor Education Program needs to provide evidence on the program’s mission statement.

2.B – The Counselor Education Program needs to provide evidence on the program’s objectives.

4.E – The Counselor Education Program needs to provide evidence on practicum activities.

Program History

The Community Counseling program was initially accredited in July 2008 and has maintained its accreditation.  It became a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program in July 2016.
