Seminary of the Southwest
The Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Seminary of the Southwest, located in the heart of Austin, Texas, offers a 60-hour CACREP-accredited degree that prepares students to pass the Texas State LPC qualifying exam and provides an opportunity to integrate professional counseling competencies with antiracist, trauma-informed, and spiritually-integrated practices. All MHC courses address the knowledge, skills, and dispositions required for competent professional counseling practice in diverse settings. Additional training opportunities at include the Latinx Counseling Concentration, Spiritual Integration in Counseling Scholars Program, the Harrison Fellowship Program, and the Richmond-Area Bilingual Fellows Program for SSW graduates serving underserved populations.
