Auburn University at Montgomery  

The Auburn Montgomery Clinical Mental Health Counseling program prepares graduate students for practice with diverse populations in public and private mental health and related human service settings. Career opportunities include but are not limited to employment in community mental health centers, hospitals, private practice, substance abuse treatment facilities, crisis counseling, gerontological counseling, play therapy, and family service centers as well as the use of creative arts in counseling. The Clinical Mental Health Counseling program is currently accredited as a 60-hour program. The program offers a Master of Education degree.
