The 60-credit M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling prepares students for the profession of counseling by promoting the development of knowledge, skills, and self-awareness. Students are prepared to seek employment and professional licensure as mental health counselors and/or addiction counselors or to continue their professional development in counselor education doctoral programs. The program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
This program will equip you to obtain licensure as a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) upon completion of the required post-master’s supervised hours.
