Status Information

The specialized practice area was found to substantially meet the standards with some minor standards-related deficiencies for which the Board requires further information.

Additional information is required for the following standards:

4.A – The Counselor Education Program needs to address the systematic evaluation plan.

4.B – The Counselor Education Program needs to address evaluation of program objectives.

4.D – The Counselor Education Program needs to address its annual report creation and distribution.

Program History

The Community Counseling program was initially accredited in March 1998 and has maintained its accreditation.  It became a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program in July 2013.
