Grace College

The M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Grace College is offered in an online format with an annual residency requirement. Students come to the Grace College campus in scenic Winona Lake, IN for a week each summer for classes as well as advising and community and spiritual development. The goal of the CMHC program at Grace College is to develop counseling graduates who are Scripturally grounded, professionally skilled, and interpersonally competent.

The specialized practice area was found to substantially meet the standards with some minor standards-related deficiencies for which the Board requires further information.

Additional information is required for the following standard:

1.T – The Counselor Education Program needs to report back on adherence to the 12:1 FTE student to faculty ratio.

Program History

The Mental Health Counseling program was first accredited in July of 2004 and maintained its accreditation until it reapplied as a a Clinical Mental health program and was accredited in July 2012.
