The program was found to meet all standards in a satisfactory manner.

Program History

The Mental Health Counseling program was initially accredited in July 2008 and has maintained its accreditation. It became a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program in January 2015. Beginning in Fall 2019, enrolling students will complete an Ed.S. degree. Prior to that time, enrolling students completed an M.Ed. degree. The M.Ed. is recognized as an accredited degree for conferral dates through December 2021. For graduates in May 2022 and beyond, the Ed.S. is the recognized accredited degree.
