Status Information

The specialized practice area was found to substantially meet the standards with some minor standards-related deficiencies for which the Board requires further information.

Additional information is required for the following standards:

1.T – The Counselor Education Program needs to report back on adherence to the 12:1 FTE student to faculty ratio.

2.D – The Counselor Education Program needs to address syllabi requirements.

4.F – The Counselor Education Program needs to address assessment of student learning.

Program History

The Community Counseling program was initially accredited in July 2006 and has maintained its accreditation. It became a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program in July 2014.
