Since the 1950s, the Penn State Ph.D. program in Counselor Education and Supervision has been among the top programs in the U.S. The program places a high value on diversity, mentoring, and graduates exceptional counselor educators with strong competencies in teaching, research, and service. Faculty members within the program have numerous professional awards, strong research records, are outstanding teachers, and hold major offices in divisions of the American Counseling Association.
