This 75-semester-hour program leads to a Doctor of Philosophy degree and prepares graduates to become counselor educators in institutions of higher education or become advanced practitioners, supervisors, and/or administrators in a variety of counseling settings. Each student chooses a specialty in adolescent/adult, career/vocational, college, couple and family, group, child/play therapy, rehabilitation, or school counseling.
