Program History

Four programs were accredited by the ACES Committee on Accreditation in February 1980:  Counseling in Community and Other Agency Settings (M.Ed.), School Counseling (M.Ed.), Student Personnel Services in Higher Education (M.Ed.) and Counselor Education (School Counseling) (Ed.D. and Ph.D.).  These four programs were reviewed and accepted as CACREP accredited when CACREP was established in 1981.
