The specialized practice area was found to meet all standards in a satisfactory manner.

Program History

This program was previously accredited by CORE since 1979 and became CACREP accredited due to the merger on July 1, 2017. Students ebterin ghte Rehabilitation COunseling program after July 1, 2023 had to enter a 60 semester hour program. For a brief time, the program had students in both a 48-hour and a 60-hour Rehabilitation Counseling Specialty Practice Area. The final 48-semester hour degree students graduated in December 2024.
