Gonzaga University
The Master of Arts in School Counseling two-year program at Gonzaga University provides state of the art training and education resulting in Washington State ESA certification. Gonzaga hosts a cohort model in which students cooperatively learn and grow into leaders of the school counseling profession and outstanding counselors in elementary, middle, and high schools across the country. Professors for this program are practitioners who can provide current “best practice” throughout rigorous courses. Students who are placed in local schools with highly competent supervisors on site by a Professional Education Advisory Board who work to secure excellence in the program. The facilities that house this program are state of the art with excellent technological opportunities, resources, and regional, state, and national level activities.
