The 60-hour Master’s degree in School Counseling prepares students to work as counselors in elementary, middle and secondary schools. In addition to general counseling skills, students, congruent with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) guidelines, learn about skills unique to working in school settings (classroom guidance, teacher/parent consultation regarding developmental issues, implementation of peer facilitated programs). Students may complete the Master’s degree on a full or part basis. Courses are offered in the evenings.
Take the first step today by contacting the School Counseling Director.
