Auburn University at Montgomery
The master’s degree in School Counseling is designed to provide prospective school counselors with the skills necessary to establish and conduct effective developmental guidance and counseling programs in schools, pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The School Counseling program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The accreditation runs through October 31st, 2026. The School Counseling program is currently accredited as a 60-hour program. The program offers a Master of Education in Counseling.
