Auburn University at Montgomery
The Auburn Montgomery School Counseling program prepares graduate students to be Pre-K-12 school counselors who promote the academic, career and personal/social development of school aged youth. School Counselors are taught to plan and implement comprehensive developmental school counseling programs that assist all students to become socially competent and contributing members of a diverse society. The Master’s program in School Counseling is currently a 48-hour program and has been approved by the state board of education for Alabama Class A Certificate in Counseling and Guidance. The coordinator of the School Counseling track is Dr. Eric Darch .
