Our 54-semester-hour Master of Science degree program provides self-explorative, curricular and extracurricular experiences, personal development of essential dispositions, as well as supervised practicum and internships that prepare graduates to conceptualize, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive school counseling programs based upon state and national standards. This program is approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) for certification as a Professional School Counselor and meets the educational requirements for National Counselor Certification. Our program is dedicated to developing a culturally diverse student population and to draw students from local, regional, national, and international locations.
