Messiah University

The Messiah University Graduate Program in Counseling features top-tier academics and online coursework. Students can maintain work-life balance without sacrificing small class sizes and personalized attention from faculty at a faith-based institution.

Messiah University’s school counseling program prepares you to take the School Counselor Praxis II exam and to become a certified elementary and secondary school counselor in Pennsylvania or through other state departments of education. Students may also apply to become a Nationally Certified Counselor and take the National Counselor Exam while a student. The American School Counseling Association national model is integrated throughout the curriculum. Courses are online, with two courses offered as on-campus intensives; multiple entry points per year.
