Texas Woman’s University is a friendly mid-size university in Denton, just a short drive north of Dallas for both men and women. The Counseling and Development program of the Department of Family Sciences is an exciting and dynamic area that offers professional training leading to a Master’s Degree (MS) which meets the educational requirements for licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and/or certification as a Certified School Counselor and/or a dual degree in counseling and music therapy. TWU’s counseling program has a strong student focus and works to serve a working student population.
