Program History

In April 1994, CACREP accredited an M.S. degree in Student Affairs Practice with a Counselling Emphasis. In October 2001, accreditation was reaffirmed for the program under the "Student Affairs Practice in Higher Education - College Counseling Emphasis" standards. In July 2008, accreditation was reaffirmed under the "Student Affairs" standards. Accreditation was reaffirmed in January 2018 under the College Counseling and Student Affairs standards and the program was subsequently closed. The final student graduated in May 2018.
