Policy A.3.c. Site Visits
Policy A.3.c. Site Visits
For programs seeking initial accreditation, CACREP prefers to schedule site visits when degree programs can document graduates; however, CACREP may schedule a site visit when students are in the last term of their degree program prior to graduation. For new doctoral degree programs, a site visit cannot be scheduled until there are students who are likely to complete their programs within a two-year timeframe. For programs in the re-affirmation of accreditation review process, accredited status does not lapse if a site visit is delayed.
Revised policy – Effective July 1, 2026
